What this product is

Nudge is software that helps you send payment reminder emails for your own invoices, under your own name and business. It is not a debt collection agency, and we do not collect, hold, or take title to any debt on your behalf. You remain solely responsible for your relationship with your clients, the accuracy of your invoices, and compliance with laws that apply to your business and jurisdiction.

Business-to-business use only

This product is intended for invoicing other businesses (B2B), not for collecting consumer debts. Using it to pursue consumer debts may subject you to consumer debt collection laws (such as the FDCPA in the U.S.) that this product is not designed to help you comply with.

Your responsibilities

• You must have a lawful basis and existing business relationship to email each recipient.
• You must keep reminder content accurate and non-abusive.
• You're responsible for honoring pause/opt-out requests, including ones we relay automatically via the link in every reminder email.

Stripe API keys

If you connect Stripe, we only ask for a restricted, read-only API key and store it encrypted at rest. We never ask for or store your Stripe secret key or your customers' payment details.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee any particular collection outcome, deliverability rate, or that a reminder will be sent or received at any specific time.
